On October 2, 2026, Treasury and the IRS published temporary regulations (T.D. 10057). For 2027, a state must file its election by January 1, 2027 (11:59 p.m.) and submit its SGO list by February 15, 2027. If the state does not submit that list, no SGO in that state qualifies. The credit is up to $1,700 per taxpayer: $1,700 for a single filer and $3,400 for married couples filing jointly. Learn more

Why list on SGOlist?

We exist to connect SGOs with the people who need them most.

Families are searching now

Parents actively look for SGOs in their state every day. A complete listing puts your programs in front of them at the moment of intent.

Capture donor interest

Donors want to maximize state tax credits. Your profile page converts that interest into leads — with a contact form that routes directly to your inbox.

Built for SGOs specifically

Not a generic nonprofit directory. Every feature — program listings, scholarship types, grade eligibility, donor matching — is designed for how SGOs actually work.

Frequently asked questions

Who can list on SGOlist?
Any state-certified Scholarship Granting Organization operating in a state with an SGO tax credit program. We verify all listings before they go live.
Is beta access free?
Yes. Organizations can manage their listing, share scholarship programs, and receive donor inquiries free during beta. No credit card is required.
What is the signup verification process?
Verify your account email, then create or claim your organization. New listings are reviewed before publication. Claims require ownership information and admin approval; an email domain match does not automatically grant access.
What happens after beta?
We will give advance notice before pricing changes. There are no automatic charges; you will choose whether to subscribe when paid plans become available.
How do donor inquiries work?
Visitors can contact your organization through your listing. You can view inquiries in your dashboard and receive email notifications when enabled.
Does signup include accreditation?
Signup and ownership review are separate from the SGOlist Verification Program, which is coming soon. Beta access does not award a verification or accreditation badge.
